This reflects the OLD UI and needs to be updated for the new tools....Sharendipity provides access to share and reuse a broad spectrum of assets. But perhaps the most useful is the application itself. You can bring your ideas to life, and share them with the world...
Creating Something New
You can create a new application in a number of ways.
- From the web page, select Create Something New. This will start Sharendipity with a clean slate so to speak.
- From within an existing application, select New... from the Director's menu. This also creates a blank slate.
- From within an existing application, select Save As... from the Director's menu. This creates a copy of the existing application and gives you ownership.
Saving Your Work
Don't forget to save your work! Just choose
Save from the Director's menu, and do so often. Keep in mind that you are in a browser. So if you were to navigate away from the Sharendipity page, your work will be lost. The browser will try to remind you of this if you click on a link.

By default,
applications are saved with "private" visibility. That means the author is the only person that can access it. You must explicitly make your application public in order for others to use it. Furthermore, your social feeds will not be updated until it is made public.
To control the visibility, edit the application's profile via the Director's menu:

NOTE: We recommend that you wait until you have completed your application before marking it public. It is the best way to generate users/plays from others seeing it in your Facebook feed when it is polished and complete.
